Why an Annual Inspection?

A great deal can go wrong if an electrical distribution system is not adequately maintained. As electrical loads cycle between high and low demand, thermal expansion and contraction cause connections to loosen. Electrical panels that are never cleaned accumulate dust and dirt that deposit on connections. Loose and dirty connections provide a high resistance path that is directly responsible for more than 30% of electrical failures. Preventative maintenance is essential, and lack of regular maintenance is often directly related to unwanted and costly downtime or even cause severe injury or death.

Annual Electrical Maintenance Inspection/Program and Report

The annual Electrical Maintenance Inspection Program is a more comprehensive annual inspection of the entire electrical distribution systems in a commercial or industrial facility. These services will be performed annually and while the electrical system is energized. The results of this comprehensive diagnostic inspection will be interpreted and documented in the form of an Annual Report.

Concise and Complete Record Keeping

A clear record keeping system will keep the program cost-effective by ensuring that all the work is being done when it is supposed to be. These maintenance records are vital in preventative maintenance planning and budgeting. These reports are also valuable when there is a staff change. The reports are of resolution and format required by Insurance Companies.

Visual and mechanical inspection

Interior and exterior of all components are inspected to ascertain, and if necessary, make adjustments to ensure that performance remains within specified limits. We will also identify corrosion, rust and discoloration, leaks, safety hazards, applicable code violations, grounding, physical damage and general condition of components. Our Report may include recommendations to replace, repair, or include solutions to improve electrical system efficiency, reduce electrical utility costs, improve safety conditions and minimize risk of downtime.
